Colleague Coaching and Mentoring Workshop

For principals, heads of schools, and teacher leaders who want to improve their mentoring skills!

This two and a half day professional development learning opportunity lead by CalState TEACH will help you develop skills to support teachers and focus on the following concepts:

  • The role of the mentor

  • The California Standards for the Teaching Profession and Individual Learning Plan instruments as designated supports for professional growth and instructional effectiveness

  • Best practices in adult learning

  • The key characteristics of The Continuum of Mentoring Practice

  • How to effectively engage with others for ongoing peer support

Each participant will receive a FREE copy of the third edition of Mentoring Matters to take home - a $27 value!

Date and Location:

August 7 through 9 at the Waterwise Community Center & Chino Basin Water Conservation District in the boardroom.

The first two days, August 7 and 8, will run from 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM with a 45 minute break for lunch. August 9 will begin at 8:45 and end at noon.
