Differentiated Instruction for ALL Students from the Struggling Learner to the Gifted Learner
All learners are unique individuals with distinct readiness, interests, and learning profiles. This workshop will consider special populations of students—from students with various learning disabilities, to students who do not speak English as their first language, to gifted and talented students—and identify ways to differentiate daily instruction to best meet their needs.
Professional learning opportunities for this workshop include:
- Understand the characteristics of various special populations of students—from under- to over-achievers
- Learn research-validated strategies and methods for differentiation for ALL learners
- Leave with readily applicable specific tools and activities for working with special populations of students in the regular education classroom
